We are very pleased to announce that we have reached our goal of $825,000. The grand total raised will be released in the new year when all final donations are recorded.
We will continue to accept donations over the holidays. Every dollar that is raised will go to help those in need in the Leeds & Grenville area. Tax receipts for the 2017 calendar year will be issued for all donations made up to Dec. 31, 2017.
The money raised by the campaign will start being distributed in the new year. United Way volunteers will carefully review funding applications and make recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors in the coming weeks.
THANK YOU Leeds & Grenville!
Our office is closing for the holidays from Friday, December 22 to Monday, January 8, 2018. We'll receipt donations dated and postmarked in 2017 for the 2017 taxation year when we return in January 2018. Our Executive Director Trish Buote will happily assist you if you want to make a donation over the phone or in person during the holidays.
