Help secure support for front-line charities in Budget 2021

As part of the Federal Government’s pre-budget consultations, United Way Centraide Canada, in collaboration with national Community Service partners, called for the establishment of a Community Services COVID-19 Relief Fund.

The Federal budget for 2021 will be tabled on April 19 and we need to take advantage of the limited time remaining to make sure our sector’s needs and those of the vulnerable people we serve are heard loud and clear: We need to sustain vital community programs and services while protecting important community facilities for future generations.

To help get our message across to decision makers, a website was launched to allow our networks to quickly and easily send a letter of support for the fund.

Your participation is critical to helping secure support for front-line charities in Budget 2021.

Please use the link below to quickly and easily send a letter directly to Prime Minister Trudeau, Deputy Prime Minister Freeland and Minister Hussen, and their local member of parliament calling on the Federal Government to support charities and nonprofits in Budget 2021.
