The United Way of Leeds & Grenville’s board of directors is pleased to announce Melissa Hillier has been hired as the organization’s new Executive Director.
Melissa comes to us with a proven track record of outstanding leadership in the private and not-for-profit sectors. We’re excited she has taken the helm of our United Way, bringing with her new energy that will continue to make us a powerful force of positive change for people of all ages in every corner of Leeds and Grenville,” said Michael Jiggins, board president.
“I can’t wait to see the great things Melissa is going to accomplish and I look forward to our member agencies, our amazing donors and volunteers, and our entire community getting to know her.”
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work with the United Way Leeds & Grenville,” said Melissa Hillier, new Executive Director. Hillier officially took on her new role on Monday, June 22 and comes to the United Way after two years as Executive Director with the Smiths Falls and District Chamber of Commerce. She also has an impressive record of giving back to her community as a volunteer and organizer of fundraising events as well as a board member for a variety of organizations.
