LCBO LAUNCHES “SHOW YOUR LOCAL LOVE” CAMPAIGN FOR UNITED WAY

Starting today, customers can create lasting change in their local communities by donating to the LCBO’s annual United Way fundraising campaign. Through mid-November, customers can show their “local love” at any of LCBO’s 660+ stores across Ontario, knowing their donations are invested in improving lives locally by the United Way through its sponsored agencies and community programs.
“United Way is a champion for working locally to build great communities and the LCBO is proud to offer our customers a convenient way to donate to a wide range of causes close to their hearts,” says Jennifer Bell, Vice President, Communications & Corporate Affairs. “Whether customers give at a store in Thunder Bay, Windsor, or anywhere in between, they can be confident that donations are being invested directly into their local communities.”
The LCBO’s “local love” campaign for the United Way starts Thursday, July 19, with customers being invited to donate $2, $5 or $10 at LCBO checkouts with their purchase until Monday, August 6; and resumes Thursday, September 20 until Sunday, October 7. The campaign concludes with donation boxes at all LCBO stores collecting for the United Way from Sunday, October 14 until Saturday, November 10.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers and dedicated employees, the LCBO has consistently been the largest contributor to the United Way within the Ontario Public Service.
