Rules of Play for United Way Leeds & Grenville 50/50 Electronic Raffle

The raffle will take place online only. A series of bi-monthly draws for raffles running from October 21, 2022 through to October 20, 2023. Each draw will take place at 9:00 a.m. on the dates listed below:
Draw #1: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on October 21, 2022 to December 15, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. An Early Bonus Draw is offered in this draw.
Deadline and Draws are as follows:
Early Bonus Draw will be for $500 Cash Prize
Early Bonus Ticket Sales will end on November 17, 2022 at 11:59 pm
Early Bonus Draw will take place on November 18, 2022 at 9:00 am
Final Draw Ticket Sales will end on December 15, 2022
Final Draw will take place on December 16, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.
Draw #2: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on December 16, 2022 to February 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Draw to take place on February 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Draw #3: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2023 to April 20, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Draw to take place on April 21, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Draw #4: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on April 21, 2023 to June 22, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Draw to take place on June 23, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Draw #5: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on June 23, 2023 to August 17, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Draw to take place on August 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Draw #6: Ticket sales – starting at 10:00 a.m. on August 18, 2023 to October 19, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Draw to take place on October 20, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Only those 18 years of age or older are permitted to purchase raffle tickets.
Ticket purchaser must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
Tickets are 3 for $10, 10 for $20, and 50 for $50.

Tickets will be sold using electronic system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
After purchase, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that game.
The winning ticket number and current amount will be announced online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/uwlg and the ticket purchaser will be contacted directly by email using the email address provided at the time of purchase.
The winner may claim their prize by contacting the United Way Leeds & Grenville by calling
(613)342-8889 or by email to info@uwlg.org. The winner must produce the winning ticket, for ticket verification. Once verified, the winner must also provide two pieces of identification, including photo ID, then the prize can be awarded. All payments will be made by cheque.
The winner will receive 50% of the total sale proceeds with the other 50% going to the United Way Leeds & Grenville as part of the annual fundraising campaign.
The winner has six months, from the date of the draw, to claim their prize. After the time period has elapsed the unclaimed proceeds will be donated to a registered charity, other than United Way Leeds & Grenville, with approval of the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
United Way staff, board members, and members of their households are not eligible to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets.
